Good Kitty Jessi will be showing you my work in progress today! Get pumped.... ready, steady, go!
So I made a water color of texture and scanned it in, looks like

Then I decided to add some trees I made into brushes a while back using > edit > define brush preset...
http://www.myinkblog.com/how-to-create-your-own-photoshop-brushes/ (that link explains better than I do). I layered the brushed in black and white with overlay to give this effect. I also drew a carriage with a guy in it and some birds using pen tool to cut them out. Then I added Nocturne, by Claude Debussy to create my singing soaring larks!

Changed the colors a bit more, not sure which I like more... I am also going to be adding the "L" wax seal...
↓
I am still working on my next scenes... I have the girl sitting in day waiting for her lion to change back into the man.... thinking of making a mountain brush for this one.. if I have the time to make it... we will see. I don't have any reference photos of mountains so it will be a little more difficult. I am thinking of a peach or wine color for it.

Then switching to a warm yellow/brown I am doing him turning into a dove. I found the bird in a cage stamp at micheals.. thought it worked well, adding in the wax seal and candle holder (found in cosmo oddly enough).
↓
I have the doves made, but already added back in nocturne but they feel like the lark so I am going to change them... other than that I have a cut out of the girl (im using pin tool and then printing it out and water-coloring them...). using my brush of trees, I am going to distort them inward to create this path for her seven year travels.. no wax seal?..maybe...
↓
Last but not least... I still don't know how I want this one really so I just fucked around and drew on it.... Good Kitty OUT!
