A2: Constructed Reality

In these two images I was hoping to capture what Atlanta is becoming. This has absolutely nothing to do with zombies or nuclear warfare, but the decay of a city throughout time. I feel as though every time I go back "home" I am slowing missing a piece of my childhood. The people I once saw are not missing, but they have moved on. The roads that I used to be able to walk safely are no congested with traffic. The parks and the stores I would frequent as a child have all changed. I was inspired by my recent trips to Atlanta but decided to play of the art of Lori Nix, Hisaharu Motoda, and many other post-apocalyptic  artists. I guess you could say that I no longer have a "home" to go to, which played to my series. I have still have not come up with a name but I feel like as I continue to work with these images something will come to me.

I need to add posters to the white truck, I'm adding broken building via cinder blocks i broke up. Also working with lighting and adding in smoke and texture.

My second image I'm working test on is from Five Point Station in Atlanta, just a sketch for now ^.^
